Terms of Service
Summary: Use the service fairly. Don't abuse it. We provide it as-is. Our liability is limited to what you've paid us.
1. Acceptance
By using LitVM RPC Hub ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Service Description
LitVM RPC Hub provides JSON-RPC gateway access to the LitVM RPC PRO network. The service includes:
- HTTP and WebSocket RPC endpoints
- API key management via wallet authentication
- Tiered access with rate limiting
- Usage analytics dashboard
3. Account & Authentication
- Accounts are identified by Ethereum wallet address
- You are responsible for securing your wallet and API key
- Do not share API keys — each key is tied to one wallet
- We may revoke keys that violate these terms
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Resell or redistribute RPC access to third parties
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
- Use the service to attack, spam, or disrupt any network
- Send requests designed to overload upstream infrastructure
- Use the service for any illegal activity
- Reverse-engineer the gateway infrastructure
- Benchmark the service for competitive analysis without permission
5. Service Level
The service is provided "AS-IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Uptime or availability guarantees (unless an Enterprise SLA is in place)
- Accuracy or completeness of blockchain data
- Fitness for a particular purpose
We make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The LiteForge Testnet itself may have downtime independent of our infrastructure.
6. Payments & Upgrades
- Tier upgrades are paid in zkLTC via on-chain transfer
- Payments are non-refundable once the transaction is confirmed
- Paid tiers are active for 30 days from payment confirmation
- After expiration, the key reverts to the Free tier
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 7 days notice
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate the Acceptable Use policy
- Your usage creates excessive load impacting other users
- We detect fraudulent payment transactions
- Required by law
Upon termination, unused paid time is not refunded. We will attempt to provide notice when possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 3 months.
In no event shall we be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages from reliance on blockchain data
- Losses from failed or delayed transactions
- Losses exceeding the 3-month payment cap
9. Your Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for transactions you submit through the gateway
- You are responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys
- You must comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- You acknowledge that testnet tokens have no monetary value
10. Intellectual Property
The LitVM RPC Hub software, branding, and documentation are our property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service as intended.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced via our X/Twitter. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable international digital commerce standards. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
